Chance piedra (translates  to "stonebreaker") is a medicinal plant native to South America, and has shown promise in the treatment and prevention of kidney stones and gallstones.
It is believed to help break down existing stones and prevent the formation of new ones. The herb works by inhibiting the growth and aggregation of calcium oxalate crystals, which are the most common type of kidney stones. This herb is so powerful and well-revered due to it being rich in alkaloids, flavonoids, triterpenes and lignins. Chanca piedra also helps protect the liver and soothe constipation. This herbal hero also contains diuretic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant and antispasmodic properties.
